The game might have caused a big controversy if it was a little better known. Then, after winning, you go on to see some village or river (you just walk on water, heh, when you have to cross it!) It makes some players think it’s all a joke or a parody.
When it comes to combat, the scene in the field is bordered by red stains in the air that remains until someone dies. Then here comes a swordfight, and on you go again. You control a samurai-like character that runs through fields and sometimes encounter enemies he has to fight. Though the description promotes the story of liberating the world from the evil powers, there is hardly one percent of that epic story that appears on the screen. There is mostly just a field with some villages, crossed with rivers, and the camera always following the protagonist. There is nothing as cinematic as what we love Dark Souls for. The game features a similarly looking warrior, shown from behind, in a third-person perspective. The developers were obviously inspired by Dark Souls when making it.
